Day 18 The Power of Cheerleaders, Coaches and a Tribe

Do you think you’re independent? Is it hard for you to ask for help? If you said "yes" to these questions, today's post is meant just for you. If you are independent, then you might find it hard to depend on anyone in any way. But, when working towards a goal, leaning on someone around you can be one of the best things you can do to improve your chances of achieving it. Taking the help of others give you so many benefits, including making things a lot easier. Let me show you three groups that can help you greatly when it comes to making your resolution a success. They are cheerleaders, coaches, and your tribe.

Your cheerleaders are the people who are there to encourage you. Their job is to cheer for you as you work towards winning the game of whatever goal it is you've set. Whether it's when you accomplish a big breakthrough or if you find yourself slipping behind, your cheerleaders will be there no matter what to give you the inspiring words you need to keep going. We all need cheerleaders in our lives, especially when things are hard. You may be really surprised to see just how motivating they can be and how supportive they can be in helping you to not give up!

Coaches can be anyone. Cheerleaders tend to be the ones who have a personal interest in you because they're members of your inner circle (family, close friends), coaches are usually people you've recruited for a specific purpose. For example, if your goal is to run a marathon you might look for a personal trainer to help you get in shape, learn to improve your eating habits and find ways to increase your endurance. If you have some more personal goals on your list, hiring a life coach could benefit you in ways like providing specific resources, guidance and information toward reaching your objective.

Your Tribe – Venus Warriors

A tribe is a unique support system. This is a group of people who are working alongside you to accomplish the very same thing you are. Any collaboration of people working together to achieve the same goal is a tribe. And it is so useful in so many ways. Because we are going through the same experience as you, we serve as a sympathetic ear, a support system and a motivator. Don't hesitate to lean on us!

It's important to understand the importance each of these groups has in your life. You should embrace at least one of these people as you move toward your goals. Once you practice accepting the coaching, cheerleading, and support these people can give, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it!
