Episode #21 How One Woman Drives A Message Through - Doris Marie Williams - Blog Post

How One Woman Drives A Message Through Music with Doris Marie Williams

In today’s blog post, Liz Lima, together with a special guest, Doris Marie, discussed helping women through music. She also talked about having women realize that there are ways to express yourself by listening to the body and finding that strength in music. Part of the routine is meditation and doing breathing exercises and vocalizations. These healing exercises work wonderfully on patients with insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder and anxiety. Doris elaborated that when we close our eyes, we connect with the golden light all the way up to the heavens, especially when we do it to express such strength in the music that we sing in choirs or even by ourselves alone.

As you heal yourself, you get the feeling that a lot of people should benefit from it, too. Praying to the angels and the heavens give you a sense of self-actualization and spiritual growth. Finding strength in music as a singer gives Doris the urge to influence people to take upon the healing routine. She also mentioned writing down an Angel Book to relieve her of her stress and anxiety.

Liz Lima:

Thank you so much Venus Warriors for coming back. This is another amazing interview that I have with another exceptional woman here today. And as I always say, you know that I have these women come on here to share their stories because they've gone through a lot in their lives and have overcome so much and now you can learn from them as well as possibly resonate with them because you may be going through something that they have already conquered themselves. So enough of that, I will stop talking and I will introduce my amazing guest today. Today I have Doris. How are you Doris?

Doris Marie Williams:

Just fine. Yeah. None of them here. Yes. So old and ready to do my music.

Liz Lima:

Perfect. So this is going to be exceptional today because I'm, I'm really excited for this. So can you please explain to the listeners what it is you do to help and serve women in your business?

Doris Marie Williams:

What I do is help realize that they have, uh, a way of showing their fourth, their light in there, their light in, in ways that perhaps they have not found. And I do that through just a breathwork and listening to the body. And because it served me in many, many ways, of course as a singer Y'all, we all need to breathe. And uh, as a singer we did breath exercises that expands the lung capacity. They just fill up your body with the breath and then you hold it and then you let it out.

Doris Marie Williams:

And uh, I've discovered that has been so amazing. Part of the voice lesson that is just as important as, as the vocal apparatus in, in empowering the voice of women through for voice. So, um, I I, discovered that myself through some, some chronic diseases and that the breath really gets you back to your body and just gives you an amazing amount of energy and life, which I think in today's world is neglected. So that's kind of a side effect of, of my most recent, uh, discoveries and trying to just people get people to slow down wherever I go. It, church nursing up wherever I am, when I feel the need to just given my breath meditation. She here have this, and I have done maybe a tiny bit of time online. Um, and I've demonstrated online so many times for a year, about a year and a half demonstrating grounding, centering breathing exercises that I have just I made up myself plus from other influences like Tai Chi and just a plain old grounding exercise, which I just discovered this past year. And that exercise, which, which I try and describe online in so many words, but when I'm live, man that comes out. So the grounding I have, I am so fortunate to have discovered last year from a few healing women online. And Facebook has been an amazing stabilizing factor when you're in the middle of winter in a cold, when the ground is cold and there's no flowing water and when you're in front of.

Doris Marie Williams:

So, um, that's kind of a discovery in the last year. And uh, if you don't mind, I'd like to just, just do a little bit of it. There's a lot of people are with these devices and with our increasingly modern technology, it's so, so important. So we just do is we just close our eyes, put both feet on the ground and we visualize a huge big rope. It can be red, a red rope because the red is the color of vibrancy and action. So we attach a red rope or ribbon from the bottom of your spine, your root Chakra at the base of your waist and to connect it to the earth and through the mantle, through the oceans, through the very center of Gaia and this just kind of imagine visualizing that as we go and taking a big breath and breathing in Gaia, you hold the breath was the warm. We're there earth just warming us up and we let it out. Take another deep breath and even saved and saying the word Gaia. I can be very healing Gaia. And when I say it, I'm already grounded. Just seeing it and you're hold the breath. Gaia. And you let it out.

Doris Marie Williams:

So keep visualizing that red cord to the center the earth take breath and imagine that energy coming right from the center of the earth all the way up to the cord, up and up and up to your root Chakra at the base of your spine, grounding the lower part of your body. And one more time saying, Gaia, Gaia, bring me back to the earth. Do the healing nature of Gaia and I always holding the breath again and letting it out Gaia bring me back to earth.

Doris Marie Williams:

Big Breath again. And this time you can put your hands right on your belly and your sacral area. Reproductive organs and allowing that also to be grounded or their creativity of women and men and creativity of humankind is boring. That sacred area Gaia. Bring me back to you. To your comfort and source. Oh, peace, creativity and wisdom.

Doris Marie Williams:

Then the next stage is we take a breath again in the bottoms of our feet, bringing up her hands on the buttons that are feet all the way up to our crowd, filling every cell of our being with oxygen, the vital energy and holding that breath. And out,

Doris Marie Williams:

bringing the breath from the bottoms of your feet through your feet, your legs, your waist, your chest, your throat in your head and holding the breath. And out.

Doris Marie Williams:

And the last bit of this is we're gonna bring in the breath again from the bottoms of our feet. Bring your hands up and holding them all right. On to your heart. Expanding your heart. To encompass all that is good for you. Listening to your heart. She know what is good for you. And others. And out

Liz Lima:

And what is that? This is the ground

Doris Marie Williams:

Simply called grounding.

Liz Lima:

That was wonderful.

Doris Marie Williams:

I I learned it from uh, excellent healer who has uh Huh. An amazing uh, services, which she's in Washington but I glommed onto her right away. But I did not take her courses cause there's so many other things I was doing. But she also brings in healing light from heaven. And I've done that a few times and I'll tell you when I'm in front of the computer or around, I've had to do it in the middle of winter and the frozen ground cause I, and it really gets me through because I get dizzy front computers because I don't sleep well, so they didn't. So this, this, this actually is wonderful for Insomnia, PTSD, any anxiety based cop, d, even ms and disabled, well disabled people that probably that, I mean, anything that's anxiety related, that's kind of, let's kind of what I, I gleaned from my own wisdom about breath and then the grounding from these two couple ladies that I found healers online and I'm, it just blamed the wisdom from that and use it. And then we go up farther and we close our eyes and we breathe. We connect with a golden light, golden ribbon all the way up to the heavens and the white light are far away and the stars and the galaxies bring that white light all around you.

Doris Marie Williams:

When you heal yourself first, then you spread that to other people. So since I, since I've been doing this with these angelic feeling ladies, I have actually had angel healings myself last year, uh, in various ways. But, um, especially when I'm doing something that is aligned with me, which is my singing in a church choir in an atmosphere that's full of meditation and prayer. That's when I had, I think what I think is some kind of healing from an angel. I was praying for Saint Michael Warrior are strong and he, he came and opened up, my whole body was shaking and vibrating and my spine. I was like opening up my root Chakra and almost like almost orgasmic cause like, Ooh. And I felt a better after that because whether the insomnia and affected by lights, just anything that's has no breath in, it has no just, just electric energy and has no breath in it.

Doris Marie Williams:

It has no human flesh. So I have to get back to my human flesh with the breath. So I felt so much better after this healing and that's twice or maybe three times a day. The same thing happened when I prayed so fervently and crying, crying because of this insomnia crying because I wasn't settled yet where I, what am I doing? What I, where am I living? And so I just that night in this house I was in for a month, that night I had another spiritual orgasmic experience grade for Bentley. I thought, oh, and I was legally no anxiety at all. Just completely gone, absolutely gone. And I really, I wrote this down and what I'm hoping to be at Angel Book, some sort like an angel. So I've wrote this down and I was just so completely no anxiety and I could sleep a little bit.

Doris Marie Williams:

But what happens usually with me is I get so excited, I have very little adrenaline. So the next day I got signed. When I went swimming the next morning I was able to go swimming in the morning. I love swimming and that I just got called out because of, I was so excited. Oh my gosh. I got to learn, learn how to be calm. And, and angel just does it to me again. Okay. Well, everyday currency.

Liz Lima:

Oh, that's wonderful.

Doris Marie Williams:

So I tell this to people in church, in the Catholic Church, and I've been telling a little bit here and there because you know they're, they're kind of, some of them are, some of them are know about this and some of them don't. So it wasn't that great for a mother yesterday whose son was in the hospital, had kidney failure, then athletic. So I've sent her my heart music and I send her angels and I had just told other people.

Doris Marie Williams:

But that really is my, my ultimate reward is to send people my heart music. I want to share that. Yes. So that's, for me, that's what's helped me be grounding in the white light. And I meditation since last year, my meditation has really increased, has been a lot better. And I mean I can immediately get into colors, seeing colors and all that. But that's very, very recent for me.

Liz Lima:

And that's, and, and this is why they call it a practice, right? Meditation is a practice. Yes.

Doris Marie Williams:

Yes. I studied it a while at my dad and meditated, so I knew all about it. Study that my dad did. And he was a very, very open minded, a humanist, Humana humanitarian and humanist. And uh, I was very lucky in that respect. So he was open minded and, and the best wisdom from the best ideals of humanity.

Doris Marie Williams:

So, uh, I knew about meditation that I studied it with another person who gave me Yogananda's book. So I studied that. Okay. That's it. So now it's evolved into something that's a little different, you know, I, cause I look at this and that, so I've done some that and then, um, yeah, so that's kind of my breath, my breath, centering, grounding, reading coach. And then I have these private sessions where I start with that and then I end with the harp, which is also can be breath oriented with the breath. Um, so this is, uh, I dunno, I can play this if you want. Yeah, let's try it here. This absolutely what? Uh, oh, oh, those devices.

Doris Marie Williams:

Come on. All right. You know, these I iPhones, uh, overrated. Excuse me, apple, but that's just, Oh, well maybe I have another instrument. I'll just play this. That'll be great. I would love to hear this now. Yeah. I can't get this to go blah blah. Mr Iphone. Nevermind. Okay. I do have, uh, my, I don't have any harp. I do have one harp song. It's a Celtic song on my Video reel, but it's on my youtube channel, so I don't think it's on my website, but it's called a renaissance of love and connection on my website, on my youtube channel. Lutes and flutes. Hm. With no spaces. Lutes and flutes. Cause I used to play tin whistle. I played the Lutes. This is what I play.

Liz Lima:

Yes. What is this?

Doris Marie Williams:

It's called a Lute, which came from the old, from Turkey. So any Muslim would know exactly what those, okay.

Doris Marie Williams:

Oh, belly dancing instrument. But the Europe Europeans took it on as a, as an instrument to play professional or professional so I'm just doing a little bit example and all how much time we have. Uh, okay. We got to look a little, a little of example of what I began with as a singing angel because, um, that name, uh, I've had since a teenager singing in church and I was asked, I love this church because we had fun time with acquire that from the balcony, you know, the peanut gallery up in the balcony, just flat ourselves. Having a blast of a time when it was very tiny church in a small town in Michigan. So I was asked to sing this beautiful song, classical song. Well, walk your angels to the skies for my dad's got son's baptism. Chris, Chris. He was Indian. Who is now we're still in touch and Houston. Oh. And it went, this is on my website. Actually my stories on my website under speaker, a singer services, trying to be a speaker also in singing. And this is kind of how it went.

Doris Marie Williams:

So my dad accompanied me on that. There's flutes in there, which is perfect for heaven. Course people said we have a singing angel in our church. I have that also on my CD singing angel on my restaurants and beyond CD, which is all rap music, which has been my top seller because that's the CD I have on hand to sell a renaissance of love and connection you saw is from the 16th century. One of the top hits, the 16th century written by a pre a a priest or a chaplain. He was accord musician in the, in the chapel, royal of friends and uh, had a, had a choir underneath them that did exquisite music and composed for the chapel and the church. We had these mainly known a lot for his folk songs, but of course he wrote for the church because a lot of money in that church in those days. This was actually might beautiful, it's also a dance called the [inaudible], which is a very stately court dance. Sometimes I dance while I sing, but I, I'll just sing it as long as I am in the flourishing of my youth. I sing to the god of love and thoughts where it's in the green.

Doris Marie Williams:

I rejoice because, so this sweet bodied beauty her heart is mine. My heart is your heart. Throwaway sadness, long lived gladness. There's so much happiness and love.

Liz Lima:

That's beautiful. Yeah. Oh my goodness. That's amazing.

Doris Marie Williams:

So that's, yeah, that's on my renaissance and beyond CD baby. And um, my, I think salutes and flutes, youtube channel and a video of a concert I did a while ago. So I've done this renaissance stuff since teenager. It's college.

Doris Marie Williams:

And this was a gift from my parents. Wow. Will still be a surprise, but it didn't turn out that way. So my parents bought this for me and as a singer and the renaissance, I needed to have something accompany myself. So I've been doing that renaissance and composing songs on this. Ah. Oh, awesome. And it's just a, yeah, I do like to some Italian songs as well and some English ones and then a few Shakespeare theater songs and I do count it. Although calc anyways, so that there isn't another Italian song. This actually quite flirtatious. Um, it's about young love and uh, yeah, the young love and is just a beautiful little song and a, a gem of a song. And it, and it's, I guess I look like to, I'll say it a little bit because it's a short piece. I like short songs cause there are gems are just gems by themselves. They don't need anything else. Oh Vila Noah, Juan de la. By then you wash yourself. Olivia, [inaudible] and when you are, refresh when you return.

Doris Marie Williams:

Please tell me could I possibly I have a kiss flush.

Liz Lima:

That is very, powerful though. I love it.

Doris Marie Williams:

It's, it's, it's difference. You know, this requires special attention, which people are, are kind of short of these days, I've depending on where you are. That's um, so that's why, you know, I'm by myself on stage. People want more things, more things to look at, more, more, more shiny objects, you know. And so I, I, there was a place in Flint that's, well, that's what people tell me. There's a guy in Flint who told me he wanted more noise on noise. What did he call it? Noise, more something, whatever. Okay. So I, I took his word for it, but I didn't stand in my truth and power and say, no, I can do this. Which I, I can. So I did in Rochester at this concert, which is on my website.

Doris Marie Williams:

I did in Rochester. This guy hired me and I, I played lute, I played piano, I did a Celtic song and, and I did, uh, an original at the end and I also spoke. So that's kind of my speaker singing capacity. And uh, some originals. I did a Bach tune, I sang with helping him in of Oregon. So that was, that was a little a debut for me during the at back house. And um, you know, I'll, I think it works maybe in Europe or go to Europe. I can do it. And I know a few people though there in Berlin actually I know possessions in Berlin, but it's the connections, you know, so, so that's what I have to say. I don't know. Um, my insomnia has kind of made me realize, yes, you need to still keep singing and do some solo things.

Doris Marie Williams:

I've done a lot of choir, but I went to Michigan recently and I had a couple of voice lessons with sharp when she was very, very good for me and spurred me on to converse, sue, the solo thing. But there are a lot of people that an online on Facebook that just kind of look at me and say, beautiful, beautiful, beautiful, and I just don't know what to do with these. You don't know what to do with me either. Okay. Tell me. Voice lessons. I so, I mean I had one lady who kept on loving me and loving me, giving me money that Marie, but she, she hasn't decided what, I mean, she's just started singing in church herself. So I had to well figure out, I mean I had two services I'll get with the breathing, centering and grounding and the healing harp, and then the singing lessons I just wrote on like, I just made this up on the website about if you want to be a singing angel and learn how to have this, this vibrational higher frequency, I can teach you that.

Liz Lima:

I can give you the mechanics. But, um, you know, we all have a different talent and teaching mechanics and if something comes out of that, uh, I think it would, if you just give it the right intention from your heart and if you're aligned with it, right, if you're path, if that's what your passion is. I, I taught a lady, a mother in the San Mateo, your California, and I could just see her anxiety. I just, and I, I tried to penetrate that and I only had very, a couple months to do it and it just, so that's, oh wow. Then that's kind of, you know, I tried to penetrate it for a couple, couple months and then something happened that didn't work out. So, um, I just did breath exercises that takes some while I guess for some people to recognize, oh, I'm, you know, distracted and all that. And, and it's all up here. All up here we gotta be more from the harp, right. And the breath and the harp and it will help do that. So I kind of new, unique thing that I've come up with my own, weight, because that's, that's me. I'm very creative and, and I, you know, I get, I get kind of, I don't want to be inside a box, although you know, to be that, I guess to make money. I Dunno.

Liz Lima:

Not True. I think so. No,You being in an alignment I think is, is all that's necessary.

Doris Marie Williams:

Oh wait, here, here's, my

Music Voice:

Parents were both musical. You're fine. Like as soon as I got on the house, I wanted to play a song I could feel the energy of the house. So the next morning I said, well, I've got to play a song. I got to compose a song. And this is the song of Angel Wings, the nursing home. Then angels also with their wings also gives you a lot of good breaths. So for all kind of pretend we're angels and fill up our bodies. Angel Wings. That's another nice with just healing yourself. Angels are behind you. They want to know, okay. Yeah. They want to know. Yes.

Doris Marie Williams:

Angels are traveling. They need to be [inaudible] with the breath and the space traveling. Woo. And this is where I smile. Dad's smiling part. I don't know why it's just, this is just opening up, give more possibility feeling on a different scenery, different the clouds, the sun, and then settling.

Liz Lima:

Yeah, that's amazing. And is that a full size harp? Say it's

Doris Marie Williams:

Too grandiose to the angels in a grandiose. So I just had this simple harp made in San Francisco and I have no harp enthusiasts. That's one of my third mission. I don't know how many missions do I need third admission, whatever mission it is. Yeah. I don't think, literally it all says linears just out the window. I can't do that. When I see people writing and writing a book, well, how do you do that? All right. Am I right that it's not is so disorganized? Okay. I'll just, but so I have harp students or students in Flint. It found me there in Flint and the father loves the harp. So I had, I posted them on Facebook, the father and son playing it together. The harp together. Yeah, absolutely. The father absolutely loves this, this breadth of Angel Wings.

Doris Marie Williams:

I've already played it from twice. He's all, can I hear that again? And that one part where I said it was a smiling part, he gives us his favorite part. So he as the ear to what I'm trying to say about the face without my even saying anything. He just knows he gets it. Yeah. That's it. It's like that is very rare because he doesn't have a day job. He's homeschooling is kid. He's trying to do what he can. I'm so odd jobs. Yeah, he's, he's in, he's aligned. I think it's just, you know, he's aligned and he's moving to the lake instead of flip, which is great. All up. Uh, let me go swimming with you when you're ready. You know, he was just going to be frozen in the winter. I don't know the lakes no good in the winter. Be living in Lake Huron. Yeah. So that's what he needed. He's anyway, so, well, I'm hoping that I can touch the other people, disabled people, a disabled person got his hands on it. You says, can I buy it from you? He just couldn't stop playing. And he was, he was, he knew enough to note to comprehend things that he's, he's kind of like, you know, elementary school, you know, kind of like that education. So it was like that. He just,

Doris Marie Williams:

So, and then another disabled lady in a wheelchair. I was just at the club playing hard cause I was bored. I was okay, I want to do harp, I want to go in that conference and play harp and just invade the conference. And so this woman in the wheelchair, you should've seen her face when she saw me. That just, I mean, oh wow. She kinda knew I was an angel playing her. She had the most heavenly blissful days on amazing and their mother was standing by just kind of bored, you know, well this is helping, you know, all we got to get to them, you know, we got to get on her schedule and get to the massage notes, Yancey.

Liz Lima:

Yep, Yep, Yep. You'll just have to keep spreading it. You know, people little by little people are becoming a little bit more aware.

Doris Marie Williams:

There's a few more. I get notices for lessons on this online. Another few more notices for harp that I've seen in this area and I played harp at the Sunnyvale public library last year. I did it quite a few times and maybe that that grew on so that there is a Chinese guy who just stopped and did his Tai Chi with the harp. Like, oh, that was a moment out of time and space. Oh. Oh,

Liz Lima:

I see. So how can people find you? I know I'm going to have, I'm going to write all this down in the, in the show notes, but what, what, how I interact.

Doris Marie Williams:

So yeah, you can write down my phone number. I don't mind that, that, that old fashioned phone number's fine. Uh, six five zero two one three six, four, six, three personal. I like personal connection. Yep. Yep. Uh, an email is, but really the phone is isn't the best, but I am an Instagram and Facebook creative angel wisdom.

Doris Marie Williams:

Okay. If you look at all the posts on that, I have all sorts of grounding, breathing posts with meditation and with candles. I've got them all on Facebook. I haven't done anything with them except keep him on Facebook and I thought I would try and and put them on. Youtube is also, I have a lutes and flutes, no spaces, youtube channel, you can subscribe to that. And there's a hodgepodge of me doing flute and harp and meditation's and Celtic and often cover tunes all over the place. Um, I have not done it in such a regular in linear way. So yeah,

Liz Lima:

You're not very linear and that's okay.

Doris Marie Williams:

That's why I love church. And then the other thing is on my website, Doris, angel.com I have a link to my CD baby cds with my award winning Psalm 23, which is a gorgeous, gorgeous piece, which ends up oh way, way up high.

Doris Marie Williams:

Great. Okay. Itunes. Okay. So Wayne latest top positions are in band camp, but I haven't done much with that one. That's okay. I do have, um, my other popular song that people love his friends and lovers and my first album as well.

Doris Marie Williams:

Talking about us all being in one body. The great song for Church as well. I mean, do a little bit of it. Whew. Mm. Woo Woo. Yeah, sweet conversation. Stories and jokes. [inaudible] wishing. Oh.

Doris Marie Williams:

that's beautiful. One body saw, I turned it into a 20 minute or 12 or 20 minute song as a meditation, which on my iPhone, so love it. So that, that, and then, um, that's on Celtic and beyond my first CD. And then, uh, I dunno. All sorts of stuff. Creativity. I liked it. So, yeah, I want to hopefully inspire creativity if that's ever had, you know, with anybody the breath, which will help you get back to your body, breath and then

Doris Marie Williams:

creativity, which really needs we need more of. Absolutely. At. And I thought the seventies was, I mean there's a lot, my mom was creative and I thought there was, you know, I was already outside the box in the 70s now nowadays I feel like we even need it more degrees of, although I guess it depends on the region you're in. I'm in Silicon Valley right now and always there's always new things going on there. The energy is amazing here. I just, the energy. Oh. Oh good. I think I'll, I haven't, I don't really pay attention to what's going, I just do my thing.

Liz Lima:

Yep Well thank you so much grace. Nick, you unbelievable. Likewise. I'm going to put all of that information in the notes and I really thank you for your time. I really enjoyed it. Yeah,

Doris Marie Williams:

Thank you Liz. Thank you so much and good luck to you on your, on your quest to do this fun, fun, and a great, so you guys on their time in the future, outside of time and space. Thank you.
