Episode #49 - Health and Wealth Go Hand in Hand - Liz Lima - Blog Post

Health and Wealth Go Hand in Hand With Corin Hinderegger

In today’s podcast, I am with Corin, a transformative coach and medical intuitive. Corinne is a huge advocate and believer that wealth and health always go hand in hand. She shared the differences between the past’s communication systems and today’s and how so much has changed and improved with time.

For anyone who works in the health field, it is so easy to forget one’s health while tending to the needs of cure and care of your patients. It’s a sad fact that health practitioners nowadays don’t get that much liberty to look out for themselves first due to the accumulating tasks and duties to comply with their patients and the institutions they are in themselves. Corin talks about getting to know your body more and emphasizing how health and wealth go hand in hand by explaining how a continuous emanating low energy could attract less and less income and productivity.

Liz:

Welcome back, Venus Warriors. Thank you so much for being here on our Friday episodes where I interview women who I feel, portray the venous warrior in themselves. So these are women that have gone through some struggles in their lives. They've, they've achieved a goal that they were going after, whether it be business or career change or whatever. And I want them to share their stories with you so that you hear them and understand that yes, women have gone through what I'm going through now or what I'm thinking about what I want to do. And then they can share their expertise and their experience so that you know that yes, it's doable. So hello and do you pronounce it Corin? Yes. Oh good. Thank God. Cause I forgot to ask because you be surprised, right? Like my name, people say it wrong when they see my Portuguese spelling. So I wanted to make sure that I said it correctly. How are you today?

Corin:

I'm good. Thank you for having me.

Liz:

Absolutely. So can you tell us a little bit for our listeners, like what your business is and how you're helping people right now?

Corin:

Okay. I'm a transformative coach and medical intuitive. I have a background in, I'm a metro pair and I have all sorts of coaching experience. But what I actually do, I have, I created two signature programs over the years as I noticed that health and wealth always go hand in hand. And when you have an issue with your health or not feeling your best or drained or whatever, your money starts declining. And so I found this pattern and I'm actually, I first and I experienced dating my life with my burnout and everything, what was going on about 11 years ago and throughout that. I, you know, I noticed that my clients, when I'm, when they came by help, and I treated their bodies, they got better. But and the money paid on changed, but it, they also couldn't hold there. So they got better for a couple of years and then they came back and I thought like, that's not how I want to work.

Corin:

My goal was always to get them better, but so they can maintain it and don't have to fall back into old patterns. And so over the years I've found like when we started working on their money stories on their paradigms or how they live their life or what they think they have to do, that they have to work hard for their money. And you know, all these, I have to shoot. And you know that when we started to address actually the body and their paradigms, everything shifted. And they did fall back into old tenant. They break, they broke through their glass ceilings, they created businesses to law. They created work life balance. They felt good in their body, but most of all, they started to learn to listen to their own body wisdom. So, and that, you know, our own body knows what we need.
It knows what, how we can make money and, and what do we need to support us? And we don't need to go to 10 practitioners or, you know, ask Dr Google or whatever, like our bodies actually know it. We just have to reconnect to that. And out of that, I'm out of my experience with, you know, all my ups and downs and the midst of burnout and everything. And what I've seen is my clients. I create the this unique, um, signature programs of mine over the last two years. And I took, many women through and I just love, like, it makes my day to see their changes and see how they started living their life, like from their own core and purpose being uniquely them. And Yeah. So, actually this week I launched my new website to sort of show world what I'm doing. What's this a little bit scary for me because I never put a photo for myself online or anything. The website has photos and medias and members' area and everything. So that's for me a new learning curve to actually show up and show my gifts. And I think that I want to give that to my clients too, that, you know, they also have permission to show up and do their unique special thing in the law in life. Yeah.

Liz:

Oh, that's perfect. So you're practicing what you're preaching, right? Yeah. Yes. That's great. So then, so you said it a few times, I know, I'm sure this is why you may have gotten into this work, but you talked about your own burnout. You do mind talking about that a little bit.

Corin:

Sure. Well it started, I was in the final year of my natural pathy studies and I had a six months old son at the time. And then I got this huge opportunity to work with one of the best, natural doctors in Switzerland. So of course I did that too. And yeah, it was too much. So I did my studies hid my little boy and yeah, work two days a week. And you know, I, I'm very blessed to, I always have this opportunity to work with these amazing peoples. But I just never listened to my body when it's enough. And it was like very hard for me to actually understand, know when it's enough. It's enough. You have two rest and you have to listen and you have to, you know, have to take care of yourself too, and not just everyone else. And I think that's, anyone who works in the, in the health field or as a coach or in any caring, position, you have to learn, like to take care of yourself. You can't help anyone support anyone if you don't. Yeah. So, I actually went through this burnout and the funny thing is I was, I hit a high function of burnout. So I felt very broken inside from the outside. I maintained everything and everything looked fine.
So yeah. But that didn't help. That just brought me through the doll.

Liz:

So then, so, so you experienced that and so that's something that you probably see in your clients in your, do you see that often?

Corin:

Yeah, I see it clearly. Often that they all, like, they all have these um, amazing protects or companies they build or you know, these visions and it's, I admired it. I have to too, but they just, they keep picking a point where they just run over. Over any barrier. They put themselves what they should listen and I don't like the virtue. In this case, it will be good if they would listen and then they just stay soft feeling lost and they start feeling drains and they always tired and they wonder why not more money is coming in and that they tried to work harder.
But actually that doesn't fix the issue because we all just, you know, it's money is energy and if we not feeling well in our energies, low like money will be low too. It's just thought of something just goes hand in hand. So, Yeah, I see that often. And the beauty is I can relate to that because I've been through it and, and to be frankly honest, it's still a learning curve. I still like, it was rebranding and working through my own stories that I'm allowed to be visible in November for me and everything will be fine. Over the last year I did hit that spot quite a few times where I overdid it all day, the things and everything. And so I really had to sort of sit down and agree. I like, no, that's not, I don't want to revisit that.
I don't need to do that again. I did that in the past, but at least now I know my body. I know when it's too much. And I know when she thought of, so that's like, no, we not going down this track anymore and I'm able to listen. And that's like really one of the things I'm teaching my clients that they, among working through their paradigms and getting their health back on track, I teach them how they can start to listen. So they actually don't have to revisit things that doesn't serve them.

Liz:

Yeah. And that took you time to, to listen, right?

Corin:

Yeah, I had this actually the realization that I'm almost always fairly aware of just because I was born. I could always feel what other people's feel and I could always see what's going on in their bodies. What was very confusing. So I always had disadvantages of other bodies and other people, but it was hard for myself because I had to learn to, I had to learn like what's mine and what's theirs. And then yes, I did had to, to listen and we listened and finally making sense. It started to do it about four years ago when I looked into the different money stories and I started to, once I worked through different money stories, that's, I started to feel better in my body and as like, oh, that's very straight.
So I think deep, I love to explore things. So I did lots of explorations and then it clicked. And now it's like literally when I have a bit of a down with money, even when less money is coming in at just check in with my body, I was like, what's going on? What can I do to support my body? And usually the monies that's like picking up again flowing in again. It's like really nice to. Be able to connect to that. But it took me quite a bit

Liz:

But it's your time. Right. But, and the reason why I bring it up is so that people know, like you went through it and you learned it, but it was, it wasn't overnight. It was something you have, you know, you learned over time. Right. And you stayed the path, right? Yeah. Very cool. So then, so what does it, what does it look like when people want to work with you? Like what, what does that look like when they'd say there are, they finally, does it usually happen where they're fed up with their health and then
all of this kind of, because everything's related, right? It's holistic and it's like, yeah,

Corin:

I have to, it's funny. Though I have two kinds of clients. Ada, they come and they stop complaining about that they hitting their glass ceiling. So usually they, often they have coaches and if they already have businesses met a earn, I don't know, 70 to 200,000 a year. So they, they established, we bought, their money is coming in, but it's just flowing food effing us so it doesn't stick. And then they always have the feeling I have to work harder, I have to do more, I have to do more. And the idea depletes. And usually they like barely drain and they have all sorts of symptoms and not feeling well, but they have to feeling, they have to fix their money story. So they can fix the health.
But actually it's the other way around. I usually take them and say like, okay, we just stopped this to body and looking on the board. And then we started working on the money story and then sort of all goes hand in hand. Well I have a, I worked with quite a few and I also really enjoy that, who, they had a child, they had fishery a good job in the past and, and they made good money but it didn't fulfill them. And so this started not feeling good in their body. And out of that realization, they usually come to conclusion that actually it, they didn't live their life purpose and they actually want to do something special supporting others or, you know, living their gifts but they not quite sure how to start this aligned business because, you know, there was so much information out there, but it's all about like marketing and funnels and this and that.
And they actually, they need to first of all completely discovered what they want to do and how they want to do it. And, that's the kind, they often feel lost and trained and also not good in their body. They just, something is off, but they can't pinpoint what then they tried many different things. And so usually I help them sort of work through their stories, getting their help they can track and help them to discover or rediscover actually bought east their gift. What, what do they want to support that as? And usually their business is to Assad into like really move along, like really nicely. Can say they do what they meant to do and not what other things they should do.

Liz:

Yes. And I love how you said rediscover because they may have lost it right on the way or or suppressed it, right? Yes. Oh, that's so true. I've seen that many times, myself included. So what, what made you then, what made you get into, naturopath first?

Corin:

That's a good, very good question. As I grew up, always couldn't see and feel what's going on in other people's bodies and lives. I just, you know, seeing something and being able to do something about that's two completely different pathways. And I just always, I'm like a sponge. I love to study. I probably will never stop. It's just, there is so much really good stuff out there.
So I just, actually started, I started, when I was 16, I started with family constellation book because it just drew to me and I think like we all can be a lot of ancestral trauma and stuff. And so I started this, that and that. All of a sudden, a lot of things started to make sense, but I wanted to understand the body better. And that's why I started studying naturopathy when I was a about 20, because I really wanted to, you know, not just know what's going on in their body, but I also wanted tools so I could help others so they can, you know, they can do something about it. And that's what brought me down this track. But I, and then when after my burnout, I went back into, I studied many different modalities of, holistic health, but then I came back to coaching because like, if the mind is not in the right mindset, the body can't.
So Yeah. And over the years I just integrated all of those. And, what I notice, I often worked like all these years, like, all my clients came from the recommendations. Like I never had any social media. I never had did any ads and limited anything. I, barely had a website up, a very old one with no photo of myself, but all of my times came to recommendations. So I think I did something good. Yes. I kept, you know, I kept putting, putting myself into the draw off, like I'm treating them for their help, but actually I did so much more and I found like the, actually this doesn't serve me because I started to not like I started to feel drained because, you know, booking always is a one and one, is a one off session is they needed, it's just very draining.
And when I started to put my programs together about two years ago where I integrate it all, it just made so much sense. And I like with the people I've started to working, they were so much more aligned because they didn't want the a pill or quick fix. They really wanted a change in their life. And that's resonates much more with me. And so I created this six and seven months programs that we worked through all the headings and get them reconnected to your dead body. And that's just my hot sites. That's just the, you know, I get up in the morning, I get the email and with all their celebrations and breakthroughs and just makes my day, and I can plan ahead this way, I can plan my downtime ahead because I always know with approximately how many people I'm working and it's just so my body better because I can take better care of myself so I can show up more fully for my clients.

Liz:

That's right. Yup. And isn't that the best feeling when your clients have successes from you just helping and doing what you love?

Corin:

Yeah. I can't even put it in bullets. How amazing that feels.

Liz:

Yeah. And that is the absolute best feeling. And that's why we do this work. Right? Because for us, it's, it's not work. It, this is what we were meant to do. We just didn't align it. Oh, that's amazing. So how does this program look like? Is this something where, let's say someone is in the United States, because by the way, she, clearly if you can hear it in her voice, she's not in the states right now. We don't have to be in person doing okay.

Corin:

No, like actually I have clients. I'm originally from Austria and I live in New Zealand, so, and I have clients in America, in Canada, in Australia, in New Zealand, and quite a few in like in Europe and central Europe. So I work mainly also, in the sunroom week things and it just works beautifully.

Liz:

Oh yes, no. You mentioned, you mentioned, these six months, seven month programs. So is this something where it's, is this one on one, is this group coaching? What does it look like?

Corin:

Well, it is a bit, they're from mixed. It's, one on one setting because I believe like if you will need to do like really deep transformational work, you need some one on one attention who is individually suited to you and your needs. But I also, I problem the last nearly two years, what I kept seeing and the questions that kept coming up and you know, there was always similar themes will come up. I created, actually I created different lessons. So I have a member's area on my new web page, that they get access to four different lessons, who each lesson is like depending on how quickly you work through between three and four weeks long. So alongside the work we do, they, I do with my clients, they get access to these different lessons so they just can go deeper on their own and they have something they can always access when they need it.

Liz:

Nice. Yeah, I like that format. That's, what I'm creating as well. I think it helps. And you use zoom? Yes.

Corin:

Yes. I used zoom.

Liz:

Yeah. I like that. That's what we're using right now. It's easy because you have connection and I think that's the biggest thing too, is that, especially with women, do you, do you see that there's things just change when you see a person and you're listening to them. And it's more than just voice.

Corin:

It's so much more than just voice. It's just like usually when I take them through a process, so something day, a skin color change, their face softens and I guess I can see it, I can support them to go even deeper. Like he was the, it was just on the phone. You can't quiet. And, and also, a lovely client of mine, she just even me a testimonial and she was saying like, actually she was, she is from the US and she was worried to book me because of the time difference, but she did it anyway. And then she just finished and we enrolled in the next program and she was saying like, you know, I'm so glad that I did it. It and with seeing you online, it actually, it felt like, you there and you, you could have me and you, it just really felt real. And I thought that that's very beautiful. And actually that's how it feels.

Liz:

And it's, and when you're, when you're being your authentic self, like all that, like does the energy just flows right? Because that's, it's just so authentic. Oh, that's amazing. I'm so happy for you. This sounds like an amazing program.

Corin:

Yeah, I mean, yeah, I enjoy it. I really enjoy it and my clients too.

Liz:

Excellent. Is there anything you would like to say that you think I haven't touched upon to help your listener? You know, because my listeners are pretty much people, women that you would be helping as well. Is there anything that you see over and over again or something that you'd like to give them? Some knowledge? Some insight, a little Aha.

Corin:

Yeah, I think to slow down and to start listening, I think that's the most important. We just too stressed out and running around like crazy little arms and trying to fix things and making things. And I think with sampling, I've really recommend everyone to do it. Just to check in with yourself each morning. And it just feels like, how do I feel today? What do I need today? And, and when things, dropping off or things are not feeling right, not trying harder, just sit down and do something you love. Maybe go for a walk or to sit down and take a few nice deep breath and just reassess it. Yeah, just take the time to slow down and reassess things and the other very important thing, counterweight. Feel like what many keep focusing on the negativity and what's not working instead of looking at, okay, what is working? Can I do more of what is working?

Liz:

I love, I love the slowing down because [inaudible] you said it perfect about if something's not working, it's not necessarily that you have to keep working, right. It's to take that break is what common practice do you do for yourself so that we can know what the expert do.

Corin:

I do a body scan every morning and actually I'm so quick at it, I just literally close my eyes and I know what's going on. But I highly recommend everyone to do like a quick body scan and checking in with your body and just notice how you feeling, feel without wanting to change it. Because as soon as somebody wants to change something, be put pressure on ourself. Let start with building and advance your self. Who am I today? Because I'm for sure different than I was yesterday. And usually I do some depending on the day and how much is on, I do some just some grounding exercise. Just to keep me grounded and keep me not going up in the end flying anyway. Just keep me here on disappointed time and just, yeah, it's makes it easier for me to navigate through today.

Liz:

Can you, can you explain what, because I know what a body scan is cause I do that in the morning as well, like just laying in bed. But could you explain to the listeners what that is? Cause maybe some of them might not even know what that is.

Corin:

Okay. I could lead you a quickly through if you want me to.

Liz:

Yes, I would love that.

Corin:

Okay. It's totally, it's just, it's very easy and it's just building awareness. So maybe put your both feet feel flat on the ground, and close your eyes and just take two to three deep breaths. Now focus on your feet and your toe. Just notice how they feeling in this point in moment. So spending in a van is of them. Maybe wiggle your toes to see how different they feel when they are mingling to compare it to when they sting.
As you know, half the man is a few feet. Just go a bit further up to your ankle. Then to your knees. Again, just notice whatever you noticing to you. Hip and powerless. Good. Further up to your tummy and belly puppies. To your chest. Then to your shoulders down to your upper arm. And the wrist and hands. Notice what ever you noticing without wanting to change of who you are today. Maybe if we take your fingers to see how are they even moving compared to, and they stopped. Come between move up to your nick and your throat.
Your head to top off your head and to your face. Maybe move your closed eyes for a moment to see how they feeling when you, Have a deep breath in. Just how does, how is it feeling in your body is expanding. let it go go. You can move your chair a little bit. Oh, put your focus to your ears. It's just kind of thing is that's how you feel this point in time. That's who you are. Now You could go on a bit further and just ask, what do I need today? How can I support myself today? Maybe you need a walk or maybe you need some Air. I'll go out and meet some friends but take a certain supplements. Whatever it needs. Just start Listen, do what do you need to do today to quad yourself to feeling your best.
Start wiggling your fingers and your toe and can slowly come back to me again.

Liz:

I do that more often in the afternoon.

Corin:

I used to do it like in between clients, just to make sure that I don't take any, you know, any stuff from myself or from the previous clients into the next session. I think that's very helpful.

Liz:

Yeah. I mean I do that in the morning, but I think I'm going to do that from now on in the afternoon. Thank you. That was great. And I think, and I know that it's probably a lot of people that don't do that, take the time for themselves and just like, what did that take? Two minutes? Not even,

Corin:

no, not even two minutes. I'm usually like, I'm that quick. Like, often you do it the quicker you could get, like if like you've just assume through. And I was like, like it's just, it's also very off like building the awareness of, hey, what do I need or how can I support myself when, and again, slowing down. It's, you know, there was just too much busy-ness.

Liz:

That's right. Oh, that was wonderful. Thank you so much for that. Yes. is there, how can people know, uh, I will have all this information in the show notes and everything so we spell it correctly, but how can people find out more about what you're doing and how, can they read more and learn more about you?

Corin:

Okay. My new website is online since yesterday, so, that's https://www.corinhinderegger.com/ a call so they can read more. And I starting to send out a newsletter from the next pick on and I, just opened a Facebook page, my name. And so I'm really working hard on being okay being seen. It's work progress. But it's, it's sort of everything is like everything is sort of happening this month. So I also created, just a little taste of his, a couple of exercises, how you can reconnect to yourself more fully. Then you want to sign up for my newsletter. So, you will get access to three exercises that how you can support yourself a bit more fully.

Liz:

Oh, that's perfect. Oh, then I'm definitely going to do that. Wonderful. Yeah. Thank you so much for joining us. I think this was unbelievable, and I know that, I know my, I'm personally going to, get the newsletter because I want those three practices and helping my self.

Corin:

I really try to be here.
