Affirming my true self means acting to meet my needs and expressing who I really am.

What do I need to affirm about myself today?

Write down a few words answering:

  • Who am I?
  • Do I think good thoughts about myself?

You can not encourage others and wish others well, if you fail to do it to yourself!

Positive affirmations are statements that declare something to be true.

 

How to bring affirmation into your life

ACTION:

I will question my inner critic. What do I say to myself daily? Is it positive? Is it uplifting?

I will change any negative self-talk into a positive statement.

Positive affirmation statements are used to re-program your thoughts and your thought patterns to change the way you think and feel about things.

Make some positive statements that help you focus on a goal and get rid of negative, self-defeating beliefs.

Examples:

  • I enjoy life to the fullest
  • I am way to %#$&ing awesome to waste my time on a pity party.  

Write out 3 affirmations and say them throughout the day to yourself.
